The solution has successfully operated in the equity release market for many years and Legal and General have worked with PSL to include new functionality, a new look and feel and an all-round better user experience than before.
Phoebus Software Limited’s sales and marketing director, Richard Pike, said:
“This implementation has been achieved by both organisations working together, in a very efficient way, to achieve success against quite challenging launch timescales. Having a major brand like Legal & General as a client is a clear illustration of the strength of PSL’s reputation for both our product and our delivery, and we look forward to a successful relationship over the coming years.
“The additional originations functionality delivered within this initial implemenation, plus the further deliverables yet to come, will mean that the Phoebus solution will be a market leader for originations as it is already for servicing today.”
Steve Ellis, Director Retirement Lending, of Legal & General Home Finance added:
“We’re pleased that PSL have been able to support our plans to enter the market with a swift, robust solution that can meet our desire to be a market leading retirement lender within the next three years. This implementation has been a great first step.”
