MT Finance promotes Gareth Lewis to managing director
Gareth joined MT Finance in 2018.
"We are very happy to announce Gareth’s promotion and look forward to working with him in this new role."
MT Finance has promoted Gareth Lewis from commercial director to managing director.
Having joined the lender in 2018, Gareth has been instrumental in overseeing product development (including the launch of the regulated bridging and buy-to-let departments), accelerating the expansion of the business and steering it through the pandemic, as well as the fallout from September’s mini-Budget.
Joshua Elash, director and founder of MT Finance, commented: “We are very happy to announce Gareth’s promotion and look forward to working with him in this new role. In the nearly five years Gareth has been at MT Finance, he has proved himself to be a calm, capable and highly motivated leader. He has been instrumental in getting MT Finance to where it is today and I am confident that he will be just as successful as managing director.”
Gareth Lewis added: “I am honoured to have been promoted to managing director. I am extremely proud of everything we have achieved in the past five years and am grateful to be able to work with such a dedicated team. We really have achieved a significant amount – particularly when you consider the economic challenges – but there is always more to do and I am thankful to founders Joshua Elash and Tomer Aboody for putting their trust in me. I can’t wait to see what happens next.”
