We caught up with them to discuss this year's awards and the importance of recognising good practice within the industry.
FR: What impact has winning a Financial Reporter award had on your business?
We were very proud to win the award. More 2 Life is a relatively young company but in a short time we have grown to become the third largest provider of equity release solutions in the UK. Awards like these have a huge impact because they demonstrate to customers – existing and potential new ones – the strength and expertise of our business.
FR: Why is it so important to recognise good practice within the industry?
Within the Financial Services industry, the most important factor – and one the regulator is most focused on – is customer outcomes. It is incumbent upon all those working in the industry, from manufacturer to distributer, to identify, develop and adopt best practice to ensure that customer outcomes are at the heart of the products and services we offer. Recognition of those best practices through awards provides a kite mark of product excellence, service standards processes that put the customer first.
FR: Why should you win an award again this year?
More 2 Life has continued to grow and innovate in the equity release market and we are constantly looking at ways of providing more choice and flexibility to consumers in retirement. We are passionate about this industry and the positive benefits our products can bring to consumers.
And we’re a jolly nice bunch of people, too!
FR: Any advice for Winners’ Party attendees?
It’s a fun event and of course a great opportunity for a spot of networking. Enjoy it!
