EXCLUSIVE: Spring Finance appoints head of second charge mortgage sales
Paul Carley has worked for the lender for a number of years.
"Paul has played a key role in the recent product and service improvements, and we are looking forward to delivering further enhancements to our customers and intermediary partners."
Specialist lender, Spring Finance, has appointed Paul Carley as head of sales for second charge mortgages.
His role will focus on building intermediary relationships and driving growth and distribution.
Earlier this year, Spring announced a series of enhancements to its second charge product range. The enhancements include a new lifetime tracker product, a two-year fixed rate and a buy-to-let plan.
In addition, the lender has simplified its eligibility criteria, making it easier to place business, as well as improving its terms for hometrack and driveby valuations.
Carley said: “Having helped grow Spring since its inception, coupled with over 35 years experience as a broker, affords me a unique perspective to really understand our customers wants and needs. I’m looking forward to bringing this to the forefront as the head of sales for second charge mortgages at an exciting time for Spring.”
Shelley Stern, director of mortgages at Spring, added: “We are excited for Paul to take on this role at a pivotal time in our growth plans. Paul has played a key role in the recent product and service improvements, and we are looking forward to delivering further enhancements to our customers and intermediary partners.”
