YBS Commercial appoints South West relationship director
YBS Commercial Mortgages has boosted its team in the South West with the appointment of James Roche as relationship director.
"Even though we are working remotely at present, I am sure that he will quickly establish YBS Commercial Mortgages as an active lender in the South West."
James has over 13 years of experience with previous roles at Santander, HSBC and Lloyds.
James will be working from home during the coronavirus outbreak but will then be based at the YBS Commercial Mortgages office in Exeter when the current restrictions are lifted.
James’ role will be to develop relationships with new borrowers and commercial brokers as part of YBS Commercial Mortgages wider national growth plans.
The establishment of the South West and Wales team completes the first phase of YBS Commercial's expansion following the recent establishment of regional offices in Birmingham and Manchester. The team now has offices in Bristol, Cheltenham and Exeter.
James said: “I’m delighted to be joining YBS Commercial Mortgages and I am really looking forward to working with investors and businesses in the South West, who I am sure, will appreciate our approach. I am excited by YBS Commercial Mortgages commitment to the region. My role will be to develop and help build strong relationships with new borrowers and commercial brokers as part of YBS Commercial Mortgages long term national growth plans.”
Allan Griffiths, regional director in the South West and Wales, added: “I am pleased to welcome James to our growing team, even though we are working remotely at present, I am sure that he will quickly establish YBS Commercial Mortgages as an active lender in the South West. During his time at Santander, James has acquired a broad knowledge of both the commercial and residential mortgage markets and will bring great experience to the team.”
