YBS Commercial appoints Midlands relationship director
YBS Commercial Mortgages has boosted its team in the Midlands with the appointment of James Steadman as a relationship director.
"Even though we are working remotely at present, I am sure that he will quickly establish YBS Commercial Mortgages as an active lender in the Midlands."
James has more than 12 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having previous worked at Santander, Virgin Money, and as a wealth management consultant.
James will be working from home during the coronavirus outbreak but will be based at the YBS Commercial office on New Street in Birmingham when the current restrictions are lifted.
James’ role will be to develop relationships with new borrowers and commercial brokers as part of YBS Commercial Mortgages' wider national growth plans.
The establishment of the Midlands team completes the first phase of YBS Commercial's expansion following the recent launch of regional offices in Bristol and Manchester.
James said: “I’m delighted to be joining YBS Commercial Mortgages and am excited by the commitment the organisation has made to the region. I’m looking forward to working with investors and businesses in the Midlands, who I am sure, will appreciate our approach.”
John Little, regional director for YBS Commercial Mortgages in the Midlands, added: “I am pleased to welcome James to our growing team. Even though we are working remotely at present, I am sure that he will quickly establish YBS Commercial Mortgages as an active lender in the Midlands. During his time at Santander, James has acquired a broad knowledge of both the commercial and residential mortgage markets and will bring great experience to the team.”
