Handelsbanken has joined the lender panel of TMG Mortgage Network.

The partnership provides TMG advisers with access to the bank's relationship-led mortgage proposition and UK branch network.

Handelsbanken is known for its relationship-based approach, assessing each case on its individual merits and empowering local decision-makers to support customers with more complex circumstances.

Danny Belton, head of club and partner strategy at TMG Mortgage Network, said: "At TMG, we are constantly looking for ways to expand adviser choice and ensure our members have access to lenders that can support a diverse range of customer circumstances. Handelsbanken's highly personalised approach to lending, combined with local decision-making and a genuine willingness to assess each case on its own merits, makes them a fantastic addition to our panel.

"We believe this partnership will add significant value for advisers working with self-employed clients, professionals, business owners and customers with more complex borrowing requirements."

Steve MacDonald, national head of intermediary business at Handelsbanken, added: "We are delighted to be joining the TMG Mortgage Network lender panel and making our mortgage proposition available to TMG advisers.

"Our focus is on building long-term relationships and ensuring every client receives an individual assessment from experienced local decision-makers. We look forward to working closely with TMG advisers and supporting them in finding the right solutions for their clients."
