The Mortgage Lender expands commercial BDM team
The Mortgage Lender has appointed David Venn to its commercial team as a BDM for London and the Southern Home Counties.
"We’ve now got the right people and structure in place to support our broker partners, build those deep and productive relationships and help more people buy their homes."
David joins from equity release firm Just Group, where he was a BDM for six years, and prior to that spent nine years as a bank manager for Lloyds.
His appointment completes the expansion of the commercial team which now comprises 20 employees. This year, five new BDMs have been appointed, along with two national account managers and the telesales team has grown from three to nine.
The Mortgage Lender has also introduced The Hub – pairing road-based sales with desk-based support to provide more consistent and personal service to brokers.
David is paired-up with Glasgow-based Rob Dalziel.
David said: “I’ve got a passion for property and for helping people. The Mortgage Lender has a desire to be a big player in the market and has a bright and eye-catching brand that is getting the attention of brokers who are intrigued about what we do. The decision to become part of the team and its journey was an easy one for me.”
The Mortgage Lender's chief commercial officer, Keith Street, commented: “David finalises the expansion of our commercial team, for this year. We’ve now got the right people and structure in place to support our broker partners, build those deep and productive relationships and help more people buy their homes.”
