The Fiducia Group launches corporate finance division
Financial services broker, The Fiducia Group, has launched Fiducia Corporate Finance to provide a bespoke corporate service for debt and equity fund raising for entrepreneurs and companies.
"The corporate finance market is one that is underserved and which will complement the other services provided by Fiducia."
Fiducia Corporate Finance will specialise in equity capital raising, debt capital raising, disposals, acquisitions, refinancing, restructuring and general corporate strategic advice.
It will operate in the UK and across European and global markets both for introductions and placements.
Fiducia Corporate Finance will work with other brokers who have high net worth and business clients who need specialist advice. It will also work with global investment banks, individual investors, family offices, global institutional fund managers, global hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds.
Marcus Grimshaw, chief executive of The Fiducia Group, said: “The Fiducia Group offers a wide range of financial solutions. I am extremely proud to announce we now offer an additional Corporate Financial service that strengthens our proposition even further.
“As deal sizes grow so do the complexities of the transactions. As a result, clients’ requirements evolve to consider private investors, family offices or institutional funders and a corporate finance solution needs to be made available.
“The Fiducia Corporate Finance division is a natural addition to our long-established commercial finance brokerage and continues to set us apart from our competitors. We are proud to be different and that we have someone of Laurence’s calibre joining us to lead this division.”
Laurence Goodman, head of Fiducia Corporate Finance, added: “The opportunities presented by The Fiducia Group are huge as it enters into this new, exciting phase of growth. The corporate finance market is one that is underserved and which will complement the other services provided by Fiducia.
“I have known Marcus for many years and have the highest respect for his professionalism and expertise. I am looking forward to working alongside him and his team to develop this business into a leading corporate finance advisory practice.”
