Target Group expands growth team with new senior promotion
Tracey Thomas has been promoted to senior growth lead at mortgage servicer and outsourcer Target Group.
Target Group has promoted head of procurement Tracey Thomas to become senior growth lead.
In her new role, Tracey will play a key part in driving revenue while engaging with senior stakeholders across client organisations, including CFOs, treasury teams, compliance officers, IT, and legal departments.
The role is set to blend elements of marketing, strategic partnerships and sales while navigating heavy regulatory requirements. She will be accountable for new recurring revenue from existing clients, rather than new business, and will lead efforts to strengthen ongoing relationships.
Thomas joined Target as a commercial team lead in 2021 and has been head of procurement since 2022. Before joining Target, a Tech Mahindra company, she worked for energy blue-chips SSE plc and British Gas.
Melanie Spencer, growth director at Target, said: "Under Tracey’s leadership, the team's commitment to continuous improvement has been instrumental in securing substantial growth with existing clients and meeting key performance indicators. She is precisely the sort of A player Target needs to promote to deepen our understanding of and relationships with existing customers - and help us strengthen strategic partnerships."
Thomas added: "I am excited about this promotion and the opportunity it presents. I am looking forward to taking on more responsibility within the business and building on my success in my previous role and strengthening executive relationships with our existing clients. Target has a solid foundation of expertise and client relationships, and I am committed to helping the team deliver even greater value while maintaining the high standards we have always upheld."
Pete O’Connor, chief executive of Target Group, commented: "It’s great to see Tracey Thomas promoted to senior growth lead. Her ability to drive performance and foster collaboration has already delivered strong results for Target. In this new role, Tracey will help accelerate our revenue growth and help us strengthen our leading position in mortgage servicing and outsourcing."
