Sturgess joins Lakeshield in trio of hires
The bridging lender has appointed two new BDMs and an underwriter.
London-based bridging lender, Lakeshield, has appointed Jon Sturgess and Amjad Ibn-Abdul as business development managers and Chloe Carlin as an underwriter, expanding its origination and credit capabilities.
Jon Sturgess (pictured) brings extensive sales leadership experience in specialist lending, including seven years as head of sales at Masthaven Bank and prior roles at TAB and StrideUp.
Amjad Ibn-Abdul joins the BDM team with a background spanning both the lender and broker sides of property finance. His career includes roles at Alternative Bridging Corporation, Tuscan Capital, and Rainstone Money, covering bridging, commercial, and refurbishment finance across the UK.
Chloe Carlin joins as bridging underwriter from Kuflink, where she spent nearly a decade across underwriting, case management, and sales management roles.
Daniel Rodney, co-founder of Lakeshield, commented: "These appointments reflect where we are as a business. Amjad and Jon bring broker relationships and deal experience that will extend our reach, and Chloe brings the kind of bridging underwriting depth that helps us maintain the speed and rigour brokers expect from us as we continue to grow."
