Spotcap appoints commercial partnership manager
Online business lender Spotcap UK has appointed Darwin Delahaye as a commercial partnership manager.
"We often hear from businesses that they feel they are missing out on opportunities due to a lack of funding. "
Darwin has over eight years of banking experience and made the leap to alternative finance from more traditional banking, having worked as a relationship manager for Barclays, Natwest, and most recently Pilatus Bank.
Darwin will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with commercial finance brokers and provide ongoing support to ensure that all incoming loan applications are reviewed and processed smoothly.
Kevin Vendel, head of sales at Spotcap UK, said: “We are delighted to have Darwin on board. He will offer new and existing brokers a wealth of experience and a personality that will make all the difference.
“We often hear from businesses that they feel they are missing out on opportunities due to a lack of funding. Appointments like Darwin’s can work some way towards addressing this issue and ensure that UK businesses will continue to succeed.”
Darwin added: “With over six years in business banking, I’ve written lending cases myself and know the loan process thoroughly. I’m looking forward to making use of this experience and guiding brokers in every way I can.”
