Shawbrook appoints new Commercial Lending Manager
Shawbrook Bank has appointed Thomas O’Brien as a lending manager in its commercial mortgages division.
In light of Shawbrook’s continuing and rapid growth, Thomas’ appointment is a sign of the bank’s on-going commitment to supporting its brokers with personal service. Given his extensive experience, he will start to work with brokers immediately.
Thomas O’Brien previously spent time as an underwriter at Aviva Insurance UK & Ireland and Lloyds Bank UK & Ireland. He was also a credit risk analyst at Weston & Wellington Ireland.
Thomas commented on his new role:
“This is a fantastic opportunity and I’m delighted to join Shawbrook at such an exciting and busy time in the industry. I look forward to helping build stronger relationships between the bank and our broker partners, and to working within such a strong organisational culture at Shawbrook.”
Karen Bennett, Sales and Marketing Director of Commercial Mortgages said:
“Bringing a new lending manager to the team means that there is yet another point of contact for our brokers within the business. They will be able to rely on Thomas to give them firm lending decisions and support them throughout a deal.”
