Paula Purdy leaves Octopus for Together
Paula Purdy has joined Together as a key account manager after just four months at specialist lender Octopus Property.
"I’m always looking to add value for the brokers I support, by helping them if they have an issue with a case or need to think outside the box."
Prior to Octopus, Paula was head of residential mortgage sales at Shawbrook Bank.
At Together, Paula will help to strengthen Together’s relationships with brokers anf expand the distribution of its residential, commercial, buy-to-let and bridging finance.
She said: “Together is a well-respected lender, which has always been my strongest competition wherever I’ve worked previously. I’m really impressed with its ‘can-do’ attitude and its enthusiasm for funding cases when other lenders often can’t.
“I’ve been working in the intermediary market for three decades, so I have a wealth of experience and knowledge. I’m always looking to add value for the brokers I support, by helping them if they have an issue with a case or need to think outside the box. That’s why I think I’ll be a really good match for Together and am proud to be part of the team.”
Nick Jones, head of specialist distribution at Together, commented: “Paula’s great reputation in the industry precedes her and her experience of both residential and commercial finance speaks for itself. We’re really excited to welcome her to our team and are going to enjoy working alongside her as we extend the distribution of our specialist products.”
