Clive Willson joins Brightstar Financial as Director of Sales
In the wake of reaching the significant landmark of £500 million in specialist lending since its inception in 2011, Brightstar Financial has announced the appointment of Clive Willson as Director of Sales.
Clive, whose work was central to the success of Beacon Homeloans, Future Mortgages and more recently the successful launch of Magellan Homeloans, has been a senior figure in the mortgage industry for over twenty five years.
According to Rob Jupp, CEO of Brightstar Financial, having Clive Willson join the team is a massive step forward for the business.
He said:
“Hitting the £500 million mark was a great achievement for us but to get to the next level we cannot rest on our laurels, if we are to move forward. Attracting Clive is a tremendous coup for us. He is one of the most respected mortgage channel leaders in the market and he brings with him not only a hugely successful track record but also strong ideas as to how he can help propel Brightstar forward.”
“Clive’s role will be to proactively build, manage and improve our lender relationships and also grow our successful alliances with networks and clubs, as well as open up new channels for us to serve."
Clive Willson commented:
“Like many of us in the industry, I have watched the rise and development of Brightstar Financial with admiration. Thanks to companies like Brightstar, the specialist lending market has become one of the most innovative and vital channels for intermediaries and their clients. I am delighted to be joining an acknowledged leader in the industry.”
