Bluestone appoints former MAB director
Bluestone Mortgages has appointed Emma Hollingworth as its new sales and marketing director.
"To be given the opportunity to help the business strengthen its intermediary relationships whilst it continues its development is a real pleasure."
Emma joins from Mortgage Advice Bureau where she was director of strategic partnerships and will start her new role in January.
Emma will be responsible for leading Bluestone’s sales and distribution strategy and strengthening relationships with the lender’s key intermediary partners.
Prior to MAB, Emma held previous roles at SimplyBiz and Intrinsic.
Steve Seal, managing director at Bluestone Mortgages, commented: “We are delighted to be welcoming Emma to the Bluestone Mortgages team. Over the course of her career, Emma has quite clearly demonstrated her ability to drive high-quality service delivery, whilst accumulating a wealth of experience and expertise in the broker market.
"Having someone with Emma’s skillset on board will be crucial for us as we go into the new year and look to reaffirm our commitment to delivering a first-rate mortgage proposition that meets the demands of brokers and, ultimately, customers. I am confident that with Emma at the heart of Bluestone’s ambitious growth plans, we will be able to further solidify ourselves as a trusted leader in the specialist market.”
Emma Hollingworth added: “I’m incredibly excited to be leading Bluestone’s sales and distribution strategy as it looks forward to another year of strong growth. Bluestone has clearly demonstrated itself to be a lender driven by technology and innovation, and to be given the opportunity to help the business strengthen its intermediary relationships whilst it continues its development is a real pleasure. Looking ahead to 2020, I hope to see Bluestone continue to thrive as the specialist lending market further evolves – watch this space!”
