SortRefer launches new flexible remortgage product
The product is initially being piloted with two suppliers.

SortRefer is piloting a new product which aims to provide brokers and their clients with a cost-effective remortgage solution.
The company’s new 'Flexible Remortgage £349' has been developed as a result of feedback from its network of brokers across the UK.
The new product includes all the legal work necessary to complete a remortgage transaction while offering the flexibility to adapt the quote form to accommodate additional work that brokers may identify upfront.
SortRefer says the feature will enable brokers to better manage client expectations regarding costs, making the entire process more transparent and tailored to individual circumstances.
Brokers can earn £40-£100 in referral fees and the product is available across England and Wales.
The product is initially being piloted with two suppliers. All cases received will be followed-up to request feedback, so SortRefer can review it alongside its complete range of remortgages.
Kevin Tunnicliffe, CEO of Sort Group, said: “We are delighted to be piloting SortRefer's new Flexible Remortgage £349 — an innovative solution designed to cater for the diverse needs of brokers and their clients.
“We understand that managing client expectations on fees is important, so we’ve created a product that gives a package price as a base, with the flexibility to add in additional work to give clients a summary cost for the conveyancing work.
“This new product, which is based on feedback from our brokers, exemplifies our commitment to delivering excellence in the remortgage landscape. We are currently piloting one package, priced at £349, but based on how well it is received, we will look into providing other package prices in the future.”
