Shawbrook streamlines bridging application journey
Key enhancements include a rebuilt bridging AIP on Shawbrook's new application platform.
Shawbrook has introduced a series of enhancements to its bridging application journey, designed to make it quicker and easier for brokers to submit cases and progress them through to offer.
The updated experience delivers improvements across both the agreement in principle (AIP) and full mortgage application (FMA).
Key enhancements include a rebuilt bridging AIP on Shawbrook's new application platform and support for multi-property applications, making portfolio cases easier to submit.
Brokers will also have the ability to move freely between application sections, rather than completing pages in a fixed order, and benefit from a shorter, more refined journey, with unnecessary questions removed.
In addition, there are approximately 40% fewer questions within the FMA, helping reduce administration and speed up the journey to offer.
Daryl Norkett, director of real estate proposition at Shawbrook, said: "We're continually investing in our technology to make it easier for brokers to do business with us. These latest enhancements are all about reducing friction in the application journey, giving brokers greater flexibility, less administration and a faster route from application through to offer. It's another step in our commitment to delivering a premium experience that helps brokers place cases with confidence."
