Shawbrook Commercial adds new broker partner
Shawbrook Commercial has today announced its latest strategic broker partner, Peritus Corporate Finance.
Peritus, which was founded 23 years ago and covers commercial finance and private finance across all real estate asset classes. Its core markets include residential development, commercial development, student accommodation and hotels (both development and investment), bridging, mezzanine and equity, land loans, residential mortgages, BTL mortgages and portfolio facilities.
Darren Baker, CEO of Peritus Corporate Finance said:
“Shawbrook is one of the lenders we work most regularly with and for good reason. Since the early days of our relationship, we have always enjoyed their speed of response, commercial acumen, strong knowledge of the property market and straightforward processes. In the modern lending landscape there is greater choice than ever before. The Shawbrook team do a superb job of making themselves heard above the noise and we look forward to working closely with them for many more years.”
Steve Matthews, Regional Development Manager for Shawbrook Commercial added:
“Shawbrook began working with the Peritus team less than a year ago but, despite the relationship still being in its infancy, we have forged close professional ties and formed a strong knowledge of how each other’s businesses work. That has resulted in us providing a wide range of lending outcomes for their clients in a short space of time.
“Working with Darren and his team is a pleasure. They share many of the attributes that we pride ourselves on at Shawbrook – open-mindedness, professional integrity and a personal approach to service – meaning that we are very confident that they will excel in their new role as a Strategic Partner.”
