Scottish Financial Reporter Awards to launch bringing industry celebrations to Glasgow
Barcadia Media has today announced the launch of the Scottish Financial Reporter Awards, a new sister programme to the established Financial Reporter Awards, created to recognise and celebrate excellence within Scotland's mortgage intermediary market.
Nominations for the inaugural Scottish Financial Reporter Awards will open on 24th September, with categories covering brokers, BDMs, lenders, and everything in between - shining a spotlight on the people and businesses driving the Scottish mortgage market forward.
Following a thorough judging process, finalists will be announced before Christmas. The industry will then have its say, with the Brokers' Vote opening to allow professionals across the market to cast the deciding votes and determine the best of the best in each category.
The awards will culminate in a celebration event held in Glasgow next March, bringing together the Scottish mortgage intermediary community for a night dedicated to recognising outstanding achievement.
Commenting on the launch, Andy Shields, co-founder of Barcadia Media, said:
"The Scottish mortgage intermediary market plays such a vital role in the wider industry, and it's one we feel deserves its own dedicated celebration. We're incredibly excited to be bringing our awards to Glasgow and giving brokers, BDMs, lenders and everyone in between the recognition they've earned. The Scottish Financial Reporter Awards is all about shining a light on the best talent and best practice this market has to offer, and we can't wait to get started."
