L&G Investments hire Sales Director
Legal & General Investments today announced the appointment of Frank McGarry as Sales Director.
Frank has 13 years of financial services experience. In his most recent role as Head of Intermediary Sales at Insight Investment he was responsible for driving sales from UK intermediaries and third party distributors. Prior to Insight Investment he held the role of Sales Director at Cofunds.
Frank will report to Simon Ellis, Managing Director, Legal & General Investments.
Speaking about the new appointment, Simon, said:
"Hiring Frank is part of our continued drive to grow Legal & General Investments and broaden our impact in the market. The capital and intellectual assets of our business stand us in extremely good stead to realise our ambition of being a top 5 Unit Trust provider in the UK."
Commenting on his appointment, Frank said:
"I'm very excited about joining L&G Investments at this key stage in the development of the business. LGI has some outstanding funds that are well known and have significant support from intermediaries and multi-managers.
"There are also other offerings that should be better known and new product developments in the pipeline. There is a great opportunity to gather assets across a number of asset classes and I'm looking forward to being part of the continued growth of the business."
Frank will take up his new role in October.
