Managed by Clare Hart and Jonathan Simon, the JPM US Equity Income Fund invests primarily in large and mid-cap stocks and aims for total returns from both dividends and capital appreciation, targeting an attractive dividend yield 1% greater than the S&P 500.
Though the JPM US Equity Income Fund was the first launched for UK investors, J.P. Morgan Asset Management has a proven ability to manage equity income products in the US market and the team itself has been successfully running domestic money for many years.
Since launch, the fund has returned 27.53%. It has returned 18.69% over the last year alone and currently offers a yield of 2.21%.
Mike Parsons, Head of UK Distributor Sales at J.P. Morgan Asset Management said:
"We have seen increased demand for US equity products over recent months and many clients have, quite rightly, been widening their search for income to overseas markets.
"UK advisers and investors simply have too much money concentrated in UK equity income funds when there are many additional investment opportunities globally."
