Santander launches new mortgage rates from 3.79% in latest round of cuts
Two-year buy-to-let and home mover fixed rates now start from 3.79%.
Santander UK has made further rate reductions across its home movers, first-time buyer, new build, remortgage and buy-to-let ranges.
The new pricing reflects the recent reduction in swap rates and marks the second reduction in the last fortnight.
Santander’s two-year fixed rate first-time buyer products now start from 3.84%, while two-year buy-to-let and home mover fixed rates start from 3.79%.
The new pricing is available to all customers, whether they are applying via a broker or directly, under Santander’s 'no dual pricing' pledge to brokers.
In its home mover range, rates have reduced by up to 0.17% with the largest reduction to a 90% LTV two-year fix, down to 4.30% with a £999 fee and £250 cashback.
First-time buyer and remortgage rates have both reduced by up to 0.23%. Highlights include a 60% LTV 10-year fixed rate remortgage product, down by 23bps to 4.54% with no fee.
In Santander's buy-to-let range, rates have reduced by up to 0.21% across two and five-year fixed rate products.
Two-year buy-to-let purchase rates now start from 3.79% at 60% LTV and 3.94% at 75% LTV, with a 60% LTV five-year fix reduced to 3.98%. All products come with a £1,749 fee.
