RomaPRO Underwriting Team

Roma Finance has announced a series of strategic hires and internal promotions, enhancing support for brokers and property investors.

Since the beginning of the year, Roma has welcomed eight new team members and promoted four colleagues internally.

A key development is the creation of a dedicated team to support the lender’s RomaPRO proposition. Samantha Williamson has been promoted to commercial underwriting manager, with Eleanor Kenworthy and Isabel Robbins also stepping into enhanced underwriting roles, and Stephen Barrick joining as a senior underwriter (pictured). This strengthened team will lead the delivery of more complex cases for professional landlords and portfolio investors.

Alongside this, Charlotte Rutter has been promoted to head of partnerships and marketing, recognising her contribution to growing Roma’s intermediary relationships and brand presence.

In addition, Matthew Measures joins as head of structuring and Gaynor Doran has been appointed head of people, supporting Roma’s focus on culture, talent development and internal progression.

Hannah Tillyard-Smith is joining the underwriting team, while Bradley Barlow, Tovia Balo and Ronald Ivan Flores strengthen portfolio management, and Amy Litherland joins as a business development executive.

Scott Marshall, Managing Director at Roma Finance, commented: “It’s been another strong start to the year for Roma, and these appointments reflect both the momentum we’re seeing in the market and our commitment to investing in our people.

“The creation of a dedicated RomaPRO team is an important step for us, ensuring we can continue to support professional landlords and more complex cases with the expertise and focus they require. We’re particularly pleased to see Samantha, Eleanor, Isabel and Charlotte progressing within the business and taking on key roles, alongside Stephen Barrick, in that journey.

“At the same time, bringing in experienced professionals like Matthew and Gaynor strengthens our leadership capability and supports our long-term growth plans. By combining internal progression with strategic hires, we’re building a team that can continue to deliver the service, flexibility and expertise our brokers and borrowers rely on.”
