Responsible Equity Release and LV= host seminar series
Responsible Equity Release and LV= are hosting a national series of seminars aimed at helping intermediaries get involved with equity release.

The seminars will focus on identifying clients and then how to engage and present to them. It’s designed to help those on the cusp of entering the market through getting qualified or engaging clients then referring.
Steve Wilkie, MD at Responsible Equity Release, said: “More brokers want to add this product to their revenue streams but are unsure how to talk to clients in this space. Our seminars will help them to understand what an equity release client looks like, and then how to talk to them in an appropriate fashion about the products.
"We’re not surprised about the recent spike in brokers approaching us given the national press that equity release is consistently getting, with more and more being positive.
"Brokers are finding their clients are calling them for advice about these products. Through initiatives such as these seminars we hope to develop the intermediary community into a space where they are comfortable talking about the products, even if they then choose to refer the clients for specialist, regulated advice.”
