Partnership to hold pension forums
Partnership is holding forums across the UK to help provide advisers with the support and information they need to advise their clients prior to the pension reforms.

The forums - open to all financial advisers - will look to provide attendees with insight into the impact of the new reforms as well as understanding changes to death benefits and the relevance of retirement framing. The potential effect on occupational schemes and the appropriate balance of insurance and investment as well as the importance of targeting guaranteed income will also be discussed.
Intermediaries can visit www.partnership.co.uk/adviserforums to register their interest. Places are limited and allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Eight morning sessions offering 2.5 hours of structured CPD accreditation will take place in the following locations:
- 3 March – Scotland - The Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa, near Stirling and Falkirk.
- 4 March - Harrogate - Rudding Park Hotel
- 5 March - Manchester - The Mere Golf Resort & Spa
- 11 March – Newmarket - Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa
- 12 March – London - The Savoy Hotel
- 24 March – Birmingham - The Belfry Hotel
- 25 March - Bristol - Doubletree by Hilton Cadbury House
- 26 March – Basingstoke -The Hampshire Court Hotel
Andrew Megson, Managing Director of Retirement at Partnership, said:
“As we approach April, not only will the new system become increasingly clear but more advisers are likely to be having in-depth conversations with clients who have deferred or are shortly about to retire. Partnership is therefore hosting 8 CPD adviser forums across the UK. These sessions are designed to help them tackle some of the difficult questions they will be asked and allow them to speak to other advisers who may have the same concerns as they do.”
