AXA Life Invest expands distribution team
AXA Life Invest has appointed a new Regional Sales Manager and six Senior Retirement Specialists, who will be advisers' first point of contact for AXA's range of drawdown plans.
"Our ambition is to grow in the UK by building a strong distribution network across the country and championing our unique approach to drawdown."
Robert Higginbotham joins as Regional Sales Manager from Royal London Pensions and will oversee engagement with advisers in Wales, the Midlands, East Anglia and the South East.
Donovan Davey, Rob Fairbrother, Neville Hutchinson, Chetan Mistry, Matt Nelson and Neill Timbrell have all joined as Senior Retirement Specialists. Josh Harding-Wyatt and Christian Feroze have both been promoted from AXA Life Invest’s sales team to become retirement specialists.
The news follows the launch of AXA Life Invest’s latest Secure Advantage+, which allows pension savers to add a range of benefits and guarantees. Customers remain invested, but can take out an income or capital guarantee and protect themselves from market falls.
Lee Badger, UK Sales Director at AXA Life Invest, said: “Advisers are rising to the challenge of a much more nuanced and sophisticated task in preparing clients for retirement. The days of shoehorning clients into annuities are long gone. Savers no longer want an off-the-shelf solution. Our retirement specialists help advisers to tailor-make pensions for clients’ individual needs, adding and removing benefits and features as the client’s circumstances change.
“Our ambition is to grow in the UK by building a strong distribution network across the country and championing our unique approach to drawdown. I’m pleased to welcome our newest team members at this exciting time in AXA Life Invest’s history.”
