Redwood Bank expands Midlands BDM team
Redwood Bank has created two new business development roles to meet demand in the Midlands.
"I am confident that Andre and Luke’s expertise will help us fulfil the demand in the Midlands and offer even more SMEs and business owners the finance they need to succeed."
Andre Parcian has joined Redwood Bank as head of business development to lead the growth in the Midlands region alongside Luke Douse who joins as a BDM.
Over the last five years, Andre has worked at NatWest, establishing its broker proposition by building up a vast network of brokers in and around the Midlands region. Additionally, he was also responsible for originating new lending within the SME sector.
After starting out in retail banking 20 years ago, Andre has spent the majority of his career working within the SME banking sector and specialising in real estate, development finance and owner-occupied mortgages.
Luke Douse has more than 11 years’ experience in account management, lending and business development for the financial services industry, after starting his career in insurance financing before moving into the commercial mortgage sector.
Following his move into commercial lending, Luke worked as part of the specialist lending team within N&P Commercial, focussing on delivering bespoke solutions to investors with blue-chip and portfolio interests throughout England and Wales.
Leon Marklew, director of business development at Redwood Bank, said: “Andre and Luke bring with them considerable experience, a proven track record and a positive attitude which will be beneficial for the Bank’s growth and compliment our internal expertise.
“I am confident that Andre and Luke’s expertise will help us fulfil the demand in the Midlands and offer even more SMEs and business owners the finance they need to succeed.”
Andre commented: “I am excited to join such a reputable Bank that is known to deliver excellent customer service. I’m looking forward to further developing the Bank’s reputation, credibility and broker network in the Midlands.
“Being an employee of an ambitious Challenger Bank is great as it allows me to have a real influence in the direction of the business, without constraints of legacy systems and set ups.”
Luke added: “Redwood Bank has a genuine passion for achieving great customer outcomes and I’m excited to become part of its journey as it continues to grow.”
