RAW Capital Partners launches new mortgage range for UK borrowers
Previously, the lender has provided bespoke mortgages to foreign nationals, UK expats, and Channel Islanders.
RAW Capital Partners has launched a new range of mortgage products for UK borrowers, marking a major expansion into the UK market.
For the past decade, the Guernsey-based specialist lender has provided bespoke mortgages to foreign nationals, UK expats, and Channel Islanders buying buy-to-let investment property in the UK. To date, it has provided mortgages to UK residents by exception only.
That changes with the launch of the RAW UK Mortgage Company, which sees the company extend its offering to UK-based companies and professional landlords. It remains focused on specialist, flexible mortgage products designed to address gaps left by mainstream lenders.
UK borrowers will now be able to access term loans of up to 10 years for buy-to-let, with one, two, and three-year fixed rate options. For shorter-term needs, the lender will provide bridging loans of up to 18 months for business purposes including renovation, refurbishment, and development-exit.
UK borrowers will also gain access to the established features of RAW Capital Partners’ existing proposition, including consideration of the application by an in-person credit committee, no stress testing, and decisions in principle within one business day.
The news follows a series of notable changes to RAW Capital Partners’ offering in recent months, including raising the LTV limit from 55% to 70%.
Tim Parkes, CEO of RAW Capital Partners, said: “This is a huge moment for RAW Capital Partners. For years we’ve specialised in lending to foreign nationals and expats looking to invest in UK property – but now we’re bringing our bespoke and flexible lending approach to UK residents.
“The timing feels right – the Bank of England has been cutting the base rate throughout 2025, but so many brokers, and their UK clients, are still unable to access the specialist mortgages they need. Our combination of competitive rates, diverse product options, and flexible approach to lending is designed to fill this gap in the market.
“It’s a really exciting step for RAW. Our track record for working with global investors with complex borrowing needs means that we can take on cases that other lenders will shy away from. I’m confident our new offering will deliver significant value to the UK market and further establish RAW as a trusted partner for brokers and borrowers alike.”
