Quilter strengthens intermediary support with new head of sales
Towlson will help strengthen intermediary relationships and work with regional distribution teams to support advisers.
Quilter has appointed Justin Towlson as head of sales for strategic growth.
Towlson joins Quilter from Wesleyan, where he served as regional sales manager. Prior to that, he spent a lengthy tenure at Aegon progressing through various roles, most recently as sales director.
In his new role, Towlson will focus on developing new business opportunities for Quilter’s platform, strengthening relationships across the UK intermediary market and working closely with regional distribution teams to support advisers and their clients.
Nigel Jeffries, distribution director at Quilter, said: “We are delighted to welcome Justin to Quilter. He brings extensive industry expertise and a strong track record of building meaningful relationships, delivering commercial growth and leading high-performing teams.
“His appointment will help us further demonstrate the strength of the Quilter platform and the value it can deliver for advisers and their clients, particularly as we continue to enhance our offering.”
Justin Towlson commented: “I am delighted to be joining the business at what is a busy and exciting time. Quilter’s platform has seen an outstanding run of success, and I look forward to helping build on this further and supporting advisers in delivering the best possible outcomes for their clients.”
