The Exeter appoints chief operating officer
Specialist health and protection insurer, The Exeter, has appointed Chris Pollard as its chief operating officer.

Chris previously held roles at Bupa and Friends Life (now part of Aviva) and as a consultant his clients have included EY, LV= and Prudential.
Chris will take up his new role in March 2019 and will take a place on both the full and executive boards at The Exeter, assuming responsibility for operations, underwriting and claims.
Andy Chapman, CEO of The Exeter, commented: “Chris joins The Exeter at a really exciting time for the business and I look forward to welcoming him to our team. Chris has a wealth of experience within the protection industry and will play a pivotal role in helping the senior team further shape and grow the company.”
