Stonebridge add L&G to limited life and protection panel
Stonebridge Group, the mortgage and insurance network, has today added Legal & General to its limited life and protection panel.
Legal & General’s life and protection products will now be accessible to all Stonebridge Group’s appointed representative firms as well as members of the Active Lending Solutions mortgage club who also have access to the panel.
Stonebridge launched the life and protection panel last year to run alongside its existing whole-of-market offering.
The panel offers products from a limited number of other providers – Aviva, Friends Provident, PruProtect and LV=. Advisers using the limited panel gain access to greater commission levels and can forge stronger relationships with panel members. In return users have to commit to working solely with those providers on the panel.
Richard Adams, Managing Director of Stonebridge Group, commented:
“We have had a very successful launch to the limited panel and, to be able to add Legal & General’s products to it, is a further sign of the quality our members and others are now able to access.
"L&G protection and life products and its service offering have a strong reputation within the marketplace and joining our panel means that advisers not only benefit from this but they also gain a considerable amount of market focus and support from one of the biggest insurers in the UK.
"We are sure this announcement will be welcomed by all our panel users and believe both advisers and their clients will reap the rewards from this new addition.”
Mark Screeton, Sales Director at Legal & General Network, said:
"I am delighted that Stonebridge Group has chosen to add Legal & General to its enhanced life and protection panel.
"The depth and breadth of our proposition means that as the UK's number one protection provider we are able to offer value for money products and a range of quality support services that meets the needs of advisers and customers."
