Home insurance discounts from Nationwide
Nationwide Building Society has launched a new Home Insurance offer, designed to reward both new and existing customers with great deals on cover, including discounts of up to 30%.

Even new customers, taking out buildings and contents cover together will receive a 15% discount.
The offers are available to all customers whether they call direct on 0800 302010, go into a branch or access the products online at nationwide.co.uk.
Defaqto, the independent financial research company, has recognised Nationwide Home Insurance for quality of cover by giving it a 5 Star rating. Therefore, customers could save significantly without compromising on quality.
Key features of Nationwide Home Insurance include:
- Replacement TV, DVD player, computer and other home entertainment equipment, if accidentally damaged;
- Unlimited buildings cover for eligible properties;
- Cover for all reasonable costs of housing until the home is repaired, should it become uninhabitable due to storms or floods;
- No extra charge for paying monthly by Direct Debit (0% APR Typical).
Nationwide’s head of general insurance, John Baker, says:
