The launch coincides with the announcement that Defaqto has rated British Friendly’s Income Protection product as 5-star.
Iain Clark, Marketing and Distribution Director at British Friendly, said:
“The launch of our online auto acceptance system and our Defaqto 5-star rating follows the unveiling in January of our suite of claims information including our ten-year paid claims statistics, claims landing page, claims video and case study booklet for advisers. It proves we are focused on making life easier for intermediaries to work with British Friendly and to apply quickly and simply for Income Protection. This is one of the first steps in our ongoing upgrades to product and processes to simplify the way that advisers discuss Income Protection with their clients.”
Tom Conner, Director at Drewberry Insurance, added:
“Income Protection should be the first choice protection product for working people in most cases. We know brokers don’t sell enough of it and this innovation by British Friendly should make the whole sales process much easier and more convenient.”
