Berkeley Alexander provides compliance support with new add-ons
Berkeley Alexander has added a new range of add-on insurance covers to its online quote portal.
"Compliance is of course necessary, but it can’t and shouldn’t be allowed to discourage brokers from arranging suitable GI protection for their clients."
The GI provider's updated online quote pack builds in add-ons to suitable policies and provides brokers with IDD compliance support.
The new range of add-ons incorporate home emergency cover and personal legal expenses.
Mark Hutchings, managing director of Berkeley Alexander, commented: “Add-ons offer valuable cover, but compliance requirements have put an increasing burden on brokers. Compliance is of course necessary, but it can’t and shouldn’t be allowed to discourage brokers from arranging suitable GI protection for their clients. In response to demand from our brokers, we’ve taken the stress and uncertainty out of the process. As well as an updated quote pack that builds in the add-ons and takes care of all the new IDD requirements, the online quote portal leads brokers through the main policy and add-on sales process step by step to help them deliver a compliant GI sale as simply as possible.
“We’re delighted with our comprehensive new range of add-on policies. As with everything we offer, it’s about giving choice and value for money, whist fulfilling a demand from brokers for a sales process that helps them achieve a compliant sale.”
