Specialty general insurance provider Assurant Intermediary today launches a new residential buildings and contents product, available exclusively to registered mortgage brokers and
The new product, distributed by Assurant Intermediary, is highly competitive for older properties, with an expanded list of features and benefits including £500,000 maximum cover for buildings (bedroom rated) and £50,000 for contents. In addition it also provides:
- Trace and access cover up to £5000
- Emergency access cover
- Business equipment cover up to £4000
- Unspecified single item limit of £2000
- Up to £300 cover for money and up to £1000 cover for credit cards
- Up to £5000 cover on loss of unmetered oil and water
- Replacing locks and freezer contents both covered up to £1000
- Excess of £250 including accidental damage and escape of water claims
- No charge for monthly direct debit payments and there is an annual payment option
