Gary Little, Head of Distribution at Assurant Intermediary, commented about the new tool:
“This solution is a critical tool for brokers who are competing with online direct-to-customer comparison sites. Brokers now are under pressure to produce a quote quickly that contains a range of options from well-known underwriters.”
“Our solution shortens the user experience to just two main screens, and results in up to four quotations. An adviser can then complete the full application details if the quote is acceptable. Adding a ‘Quick Quote’ facility also is the next logical step for us in improving the tools we offer following the recent launch of our multiple-underwriter quotation system.”
