Assurant Intermediary creates Client Relationship Team
Specialist general insurance provider, Assurant Intermediary, has created a Client Relationship Team to further improve service levels for brokers.
The team of seven, headed up by Claire Peters, combines business account executive and business development personnel to increase the sales and training support available to brokers working with Assurant Intermediary.
Core responsibilities will include retention management, back book marketing and direct marketing campaigns, preparation of training materials and delivery of webinar training sessions.
Sales and marketing director Kevin Paterson comments:
“We are judged by the service we provide to our intermediaries. We’ve already taken a step to further improve on standards with the appointment of Joanne Glenn at the beginning of the year as our business liaison manager.
"Bringing these two in-house groups together creates one strong team and effectively doubles the level of support that we can provide. This gives us greater capacity to deliver more training and support not only for our brokers but also our business development managers.”
“We’re also reviewing the structure of our client-facing business development team and will be announcing some changes in the next few weeks which I believe will make it even easier for intermediaries to do business with us.”
