Assurant Intermediary attracts Operations Manager from Aviva
Specialist general insurance provider, Assurant Intermediary, has appointed Joanne Glen as Business Liaison Manager.
In this new role, Joanne will be responsible for improving and maintaining high quality standards of service and operating efficiencies and improved communications throughout the organisation, and will support the implementation of new products and processes.
Joanne joins the business after 30 years at Aviva (formerly Norwich Union) where she held a number of senior operational and performance management roles, most recently as Operations Manager.
Previous roles at Aviva also included four years as a Head of Risk and Governance where she managed in excess of 300 staff, project managed and delivered a number of major organisational changes, successfully implemented performance management frameworks, contributed to strategic planning and financial control and achieved substantial cost savings
Joanne also spent seven years at Aviva as Head of Performance Management and Resource, and six years in a number of Team Leader roles.
