Paula Purdy and Gary Lomax join StreamBank
The specialist lender is expanding its national sales presence with the two new hires.
StreamBank has appointed Paula Purdy as national account director for the North and Gary Lomax as BDM for the North and Scotland.
Paula Purdy has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, including 14 years at Shawbrook Bank, and joins from United Trust Bank where she held the role of sales director.
Gary Lomax also joins from United Trust Bank, where he worked as a BDM. He brings extensive experience across bridging and specialist lending, having held a number of roles within the sector.
These appointments follow a series of key hires earlier this year, including Lorenzo Satchell as national account director for the South, Kendyl Binnie as a BDM and Denise Davies as senior underwriter.
The hires also come shortly after StreamBank reduced its bridging rates and enhanced its criteria in March, alongside the introduction of a simplified product structure designed to make it easier for brokers to place cases.
Paula Purdy said: “I am delighted to be joining StreamBank at such an exciting point in its growth. The bank has built a strong reputation for its approach to bridging and its commitment to working closely with brokers. I look forward to strengthening relationships with networks and key accounts and supporting brokers with solutions that help them place cases with confidence.”
Gary Lomax commented: “StreamBank has a clear focus on service, speed and common-sense lending, which really stands out in the current market. I am looking forward to working with brokers across the North and Scotland – helping them navigate increasingly complex cases with practical, reliable support.”
Roz Cawood, managing director of property finance at StreamBank, added: “The quality of people joining StreamBank this year reflects both our ambition and the strength of our proposition. Paula and Gary are well known and highly respected across the specialist market, and their experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow.
“These new hires strengthen our ability to support brokers with well-structured deals, particularly as cases become more detailed and time sensitive. We are building a team that understands how to get deals done and deliver consistently for our broker partners.”
