Paradigm appoints new business development director
Nick will cover London and the South East.
Paradigm has appointed Nick Delawa as its new business development director.
Nick will focus on driving strategic growth with new member firms and nurturing existing member business.
Each business development director covers a specific region, with Nick covering London and the South East. Nick will work closely with member firms to support business growth, provide strategic guidance and ensure they are making full use of Paradigm’s proposition across mortgages, protection and compliance.
Nick brings a wealth of experience, most recently working as a compliance risk auditor at Stonebridge, where he focused on regulatory oversight, audit management and supporting firms in meeting FCA requirements.
His background also includes hands-on experience as a mortgage adviser and in underwriting.
The appointment continues Paradigm's recent focus on strengthening its senior team and enhancing support for member firms, following a number of recent hires and promotions across the business.
These include the appointment of Louise Weiss as its new head of sales, Tom Hunt’s promotion to business development director, and Daniel Davenport’s appointment as business insights and team manager.
Richard Howes, managing director of Paradigm Mortgage Services, commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Nick to Paradigm. He brings a wealth of experience across compliance, advice and distribution support, which will be of real value to both our business and our member firms.
“His background means he understands the regulatory and commercial pressures advisers are facing, and he is well placed to support firms as they look to grow, adapt and continue to deliver good outcomes for their clients.
“This appointment, alongside our recent senior hires and promotions, reflects our continued investment in the team and our commitment to providing the highest levels of support to our members.”
Nick Delawa added: “I am very pleased to be joining a highly-experienced and skilled team at Paradigm. The business has a strong reputation for supporting advisers and firms, and I look forward to working closely with members, helping them identify the array of opportunities we offer to help them grow and strengthen their businesses.”
