Nottingham BS appoints head of underwriting
Maxine will help advance the Society's specialist lending capabilities and mortgage transformation agenda.

Nottingham Building Society has appointed Maxine Davenport as head of underwriting.
Maxine has over 20 years of experience in mortgage underwriting, product lifecycle management and operational risk environments, as well as specialist residential underwriting, credit risk governance, financial crime, and internal audit.
Most recently serving as product and business manager at Aldermore Bank, Maxine has held various leadership positions within Aldermore, including had of underwriting, senior operations manager, senior internal auditor and credit quality assurance. Prior to her tenure at Aldermore, Maxine honed her skills in underwriting at the Co-operative Bank.
Praven Subbramoney, chief lending officer at Nottingham Building Society, said: "Maxine's skills and experience will be of great value to us as we focus on transforming our mortgage offer, finding innovative ways to support under-served segments of the market and helping as many people as possible achieve their homeownership ambitions.
