Next Intelligence launches swap rate monitor
Daily SONIA swap rates are delivered directly to mortgage brokers' inboxes.
Next Intelligence has partnered with BlueGamma to launch the Next Intelligence Swap Rate Monitor, designed to give mortgage brokers direct access to the market data that influences lender pricing decisions.
Free to Next Intelligence members, the new service delivers daily SONIA swap rate updates, using BlueGamma market data, straight to brokers' inboxes, removing the need to monitor several sources manually.
The information will help brokers better understand lender funding costs, spot the market moves that often come before lenders reprice, and support more informed conversations with customers about the potential direction of fixed mortgage rates.
The launch is the first step in a wider programme of content from Next Intelligence. Further webinars, commentary and educational content will follow, helping brokers interpret swap-rate movements and wider economic trends.
John Cupis, managing director of Next Intelligence, commented: “Mortgage brokers are operating in a market where understanding lender funding costs has never been more important. By putting daily swap rate data straight into advisers' inboxes, we are helping brokers make more informed decisions and communicate market movements with greater confidence. Daily two, five and 10-year SONIA swap rates, compared with previous weeks and months, will give mortgage practitioners an easy way to see what’s happening right now and stay on top of those client conversations.
"This partnership with BlueGamma is exactly what Next Intelligence is about. It is not just market information, it is the next intelligence for mortgage brokers: practical insight advisers can use every day.”
