Newbury promotes Pocock and Long in intermediary team reshuffle
Both have worked in the Society’s intermediary sales team since it was created in 2016.
Alice Pocock and Matthew Long have both stepped into new management roles in Newbury Building Society’s intermediary sales team.
Alice, formerly a BDM, will now lead on service delivery and sales adviser support. Meanwhile, former senior BDM Matt will take overall responsibility for leading the Society’s BDMs.
Alice started her career in the underwriting team as an assistant in 2015, whilst Matt joined the Society in 2010, working throughout the branch network as an account manager. They have both worked in the Society’s intermediary sales team since it was created in 2016.
Alice said: “In this new role, I'll be focusing on supporting our intermediary sales advisers, managing service delivery, and maintaining operational excellence in everything we do. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity and look forward to continuing to progress my career at the Society, working closely with my fantastic intermediary team colleagues as well as across the rest of the business.”
Matt commented: “I'm really proud to have been promoted to intermediary sales manager and can't wait to continue driving the Society's introduced mortgage business forward. After assisting with the launch of the intermediary team almost ten years ago, this is a particularly special moment for me.”
