Newbury BS appoints new head of sales
Newbury Building Society has appointed Dean Scott to the new role of head of sales and marketing.

Dean joins the Society after more than a decade in senior marketing roles at Nationwide, the most recent of which focused on leading member engagement and communications teams. In his role at Newbury, he will have oversight for both the direct and intermediary sales units, as well as the marketing team.
Dean commented: “I’m really looking forward to working with my new teams across both sales and marketing. I believe together we can really make a difference to a society that I already feel proud to be part of.”
Phillippa Cardno, chief executive of Newbury Building Society, said: “I am pleased to welcome Dean to the Society as head of sales and marketing, a role which is new to the organisation. Dean brings a wealth of experience in both product and customer focussed marketing, with a particular focus in member engagement, which will assist us in delivering our strategic objectives to improve our branch, customer and digital offerings. I have no doubt he will be a great asset to Newbury.”
