New director of commercial for Ageas Retail

New Director of Commercial, Bert Main, joins Ageas from Catalyst Consulting Solutions at the beginning of October, bringing experience in pricing, development and leadership including previous roles at Kwik Fit Insurance Services, now one of Ageas Retail’s brands. He will take responsibility for the strategic management of Ageas Retail business relationships that will drive profitable growth alongside good customer outcomes. Bert will also work closely with the company’s pricing teams to create business development strategies and identify new product opportunities. As part of the Ageas Retail Executive Team he will also be part of the governance team ensuring that the business operates in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Greg Ball and James Furse have recently joined the board as Non-Executive Directors. James is to be appointed as Chairman of the Board of Ageas Retail in January 2015. Their combined knowledge and diverse experience is supporting Ageas Retail and Distribution as it delivers its three year growth and simplification strategy. James joins us having had almost 30 years experience with the John Lewis Partnership including most recently as Managing Director of Greenbee.com (now John Lewis Financial Services).

Greg Ball was previously Managing Director of Littlewoods Finance Company Limited and Chairman of Littlewoods Personal Finance, a joint venture with Barclaycard.
