"We pride ourselves on being able to give brokers a yes or no without prolonging the process unnecessarily."
MT Finance has launched its new buy-to-let product criteria on Knowledge Bank.
MT says its buy-to-let range offers a 'flexible approach', with ICR stress testing from 125% and applications accepted from trading companies, first-time buyers, first-time landlords and those with adverse credit.
MT will lend to expats up to 65% LTV and on both residential and semi-commercial properties.
Brokers will be able to use Knowledge Bank to drill down into specific criteria conditions and wording to ensure that their clients qualify.
MT Finance has also signed up to Knowledge Bank's KB Pro lender system which gives lenders a dedicated system to better manage their criteria data and a range of tools to improve how their criteria is communicated to brokers.
Marylen Edwards, head of buy-to-let lending at MT Finance, said: “It’s incredibly exciting to be launching into the buy-to-let sector. We wanted to ensure complete clarity around our new lending policy and partnering with Knowledge Bank is simply the best way to do this.
“By signing up to the cutting-edge KB PRO lender system we are also in in control of our own criteria data and can use a range of tools to communicate this effectively to brokers. We pride ourselves on being able to give brokers a yes or no without prolonging the process unnecessarily.”
