The Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC) has confirmed that the deadline for completing its annual mental health and wellbeing survey has been extended by one week, moving from the original date of Friday 4th July to Friday 11th July 2025.

Now in its fifth year, the anonymous survey gathers vital insight into the mental health experiences of professionals across the mortgage sector – from brokers and administrators to lenders, BDMs, and senior leadership. The responses help shape future wellbeing initiatives and influence how businesses and the wider industry support their people.

The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and is open to anyone working within the UK mortgage and property finance industry. All responses remain strictly confidential, and the aggregated results will be shared in the summer months to help firms benchmark and improve their approach to wellbeing.

Jason Berry, co-founder of MIMHC and director at Crystal Specialist Finance, commented: “We’ve seen fantastic levels of engagement already – but we know that June has been a particularly busy month and many have not had the chance to take part.

"By extending the deadline, we’re making sure more voices can be heard. The insights we gain from this survey are instrumental in driving meaningful change across the sector.”
