Modern Lender Summit brings together brokers, lenders and fintech firms with return to Manchester
The Summit returns for its second year with a focus on innovation and the future of lending.
The Modern Lender Summit will return to Manchester on 9th June, bringing together lenders, brokers, technology providers and industry leaders to discuss the trends shaping the future of lending.
Following its inaugural event in 2025, the summit returns with Cornerstone AI as headline sponsor and Square 1 Media as media partner, supporting a programme focused on technology, innovation and the evolving needs of borrowers.
The morning event has been designed to encourage discussion around the opportunities and challenges facing lenders as the market continues to adapt to economic pressures, changing customer expectations and advances in technology.
The event will feature speakers and panellists from across the lending and fintech sectors, offering attendees insight into how technology is reshaping the lending journey and the opportunities available to firms looking to improve efficiency, consistency and customer experience.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with senior professionals from across the lending market, including lenders, brokers, fintech firms and service providers.
A series of panel discussions will explore some of the most pressing issues facing the sector, including:
• The future of lending is built, not bought: How technology is redefining the lender playbook
• Smarter lending, better homebuying: Can AI enhance consistency while keeping lending human?
• Innovation in underwriting and risk assessment
• The evolving role of lenders in a changing housing and funding market
• Building stronger partnerships across the lending ecosystem
James Lucas, director at Modern Lender, commented: "The lending sector is undergoing significant change and it's important that lenders, brokers and technology providers have opportunities to come together and discuss how the industry can continue to evolve.
"The Modern Lender Summit is designed to facilitate those conversations, bringing together industry experts to share ideas, challenge assumptions and explore practical solutions that can improve both business performance and customer outcomes.
"We were delighted by the response to the inaugural event and are looking forward to building on that success this year with the support of Cornerstone AI and Square 1 Media."
