Mainstream Direct benefit from Aldermore's invoice finance
Aldermore has provided £600,000 to Mainstream Direct, a family run direct mail production business based in Northampton.
After encountering issues with a previous provider, Richard Haines, the Managing Director of Mainstream Direct, wanted a funder who would understand his business and provide hassle free support day-to-day. His accountant, Gavin Parsons from Haines Watts, directed him to Aldermore.
Gavin Parsons, Partner at Haines Watts, commented:
“Aldermore has developed a reputation for making the extra effort to understand their customer’s needs and offer bespoke deals which fulfil the businesses requirements. Recommending Aldermore for Mainstream was an easy decision and it has proved to be the right one.”
The invoice finance facility has enabled Richard to unlock cash to support his ambitious plans for growth. Having already exceeded his profit target for 2014, the facility will support Richard as he extends Mainstream’s current services and diversifies into new areas such as packaging for the printing industry. Mainstream will also benefit from Aldermore’s new Accountancy Advice Scheme, which rewards customers that come via an accountant by providing a voucher for further advisory services.
Richard Haines, Managing Director of Mainstream Direct, said:
“Gavin recommended Aldermore, and it was definitely the right choice for Mainstream. From the beginning Aldermore took the time to learn about my business, and they have been proactive and flexible in supporting the company ever since our initial meeting.
“The Accountancy Advice Scheme also means I now get to benefit from over £4,000 worth of free accountancy services from Gavin which will be invaluable in supporting the firm over the coming year.”
Martin Guildford, Regional Director at Aldermore, added:
“It’s great that Aldermore can support a strong family business which has a real impact in Northampton. We are seeing so many firms come to us to help them realise their potential.
“This is the first deal to be completed using the Accountancy Advice Scheme, and it’s clear Mainstream will really benefit from it. I’m very excited to see the scheme grow further to support customers and accountants alike.”
